How does the church prioritize tech initiatives and feature sets? For example, why has the calendar and other ways for units to communicate (which seem to be highly utilized and have a significant impact on administrative overhead associated with running a unit) seem to have the same or lessor prior...

Google Spreadsheet Scripture lookup

Does anyone already have a google script or function to pull a scripture? I'm thinking of a scenario where I enter a scripture in one column and a function in the next column pulls the scripture from scriptures.lds.org or some other source and displays it in the cell. Before I started at it, I thoug...

Hopefully if enough of us submit feedback on the store web site, they will make some changes.

So, how do YOU do it? We also use the news section and an attached pdf. But the attached pdf contains the schedule for the next 6 months worth of lessons with embedded links. We try to make it a nicely printable format for those who like hard copy as well. We pass out the hard copies in the quorums...

Just a thought, but you also might not have permission to view the form. I can't check for you because I know I don't, but the new site grants different privileges based on calling. To be sure, you might want to have the bishop take a look. Yep, you are right. The store.lds.org helpdesk responded w...

There are many items that are not yet on the new store.lds.org. One thing you might try is to go to the old site. Here is a link to the Unit login page . I know the Church is trying to move people to the new site, but as long as the old site is available and has items not available on the new site,...

New store site - No bishop's order for commodities form?

I can't find the Bishop's order for commodities form on the new store.lds.org site. I go into Administrative Materials » Stake/Ward » Reports, Forms, and Certificates, but no luck. This form used to be on the old ldscatalog.com site as a downloadable pdf or to order the packets of forms. I could rea...

Most apps for blackberry can be downloaded and used "over the air" (OTA) without any need for your computer, mac or PC. Unfortunately, there are not any good scripture solutions for the blackberry right now---nothing like what is available for the iPhone. However, you can still do it. This page desc...

So from what you are saying the handbook is unclear and the only clarity comes from whomever up the chain of comand says "up or down." I can live with that-the problem is that it needs to be described as that... our guy says it is in the handbook- it would be a little better, it seems, if they just...
