Since there's only about 10 of them, space really isn't much of an issue-- yet. I was mostly just surprised to see that we did keep a copy of the histories. It may be prudent, however, to start scanning them in now, so it doesn't being an issue in the future.

Annual Histories

I was going through some of the records in the stake clerk's office recently, and noticed there are (I think) all the stake's annual histories since its inception (approx. 10 years). Are we supposed to keep a copy locally, or is it sufficient to send our annual history to SLC only? I do not see any ...

Though I don't have any inside information this, to me it would seem that I'd only use the AMFA account(s) - though I can't imagine what would go into the "cleared funds" account.

I hope you find the solution to this, since I noticed I'm sending your camp a check in the next week :)

Donations and Deposits for a Stake

I was reading Chapter 14 of Handbook 1, and noticed that it does not address the process of verifying and depositing donations in a stake. It only refers to bishopric members and clerks. Has anyone heard of or seen procedures specifically for a stake, or could this be an instance where we replace th...

Looks like this is happening

If you go to FamilySearch Wiki ( http://wiki.familysearch.org ), you will notice that they are starting to have a single FamilySearch login so that eventually you won't have a seperate login for FamilySearch Wiki, FamilySearch.org, New FamilySearch, etc. When registering for a new login, members of ...

My Stake is having lesson 44 taught between lessons 43 and 45. From my understanding, it is at the discretion of the stake leadership what order lessons are taught in (including what is taught for Teachings for our Time). I would suggest you contact your local leadership with any questions for why t...

While not speaking with any authority, I doubt this is an easy "fix." Instead, I'd imagine that it would take a significant amount of effort to modify the calendar feature of the LUWS. This, however, is being experimented with in the next version of LUWS as seen at http://tech.lds.org/luc .
