Thank you for the information, although I had already read it.

More of what I was looking for is practical information from anyone who has been through the process that would be able to alert us to potential gotchas that handbooks don't cover.

We had a dance last Friday and our Primary President tripped over a bench in our cultural hall and dislocated her shoulder. So far their have been two trips to the ER, and a follow up doctors appointmen...

That could be a challenge. Age is not a good predictor of who is Youth and who is in Elders/Relief Society. And given the number of smart phones and other wireless internet enabled devices carried by members of all ages, an age restriction is just so much security theater, it doesn't really accompl...

The part of the statement that is not correct is where you say that an authorized signer cannot sign a check made out to an immediate family member. There is no such restriction for non-FO checks; the only restriction is that he can't sign a check made out to him personally. I agree the handbook of...

Unless the handbook says "thou shalt not" I believe each Primary President would be free to hold activities as appropriate for their Primary, and under the direction of their Priesthood leaders, they just aren't mandated that they must be held. I also re-watched the general training that talked abou...

Every training I have ever attended, or ever heard of, where this subject comes up, including those after the new handbook, has always made it clear that if a Sister is making something that she will take home after the activity then the Ward is allowed to collect funds to pay for those materials. B...

Actually, I had stationary long before our Bishop was setup in CDOL. I mailed the order in, but the Stake also mailed the change in. My order was filled first.

Go figure.

That would require that (1) the ordination be performed, (2) the assigned representative find the ward clerk and get him to enter the information and trigger an MLS update, (3) the assigned representative find the stake clerk and get him to trigger an MLS update and print the certificate, (4) someo...

⋅ It only contains email addresses for those members who have actually registered on the LUWS site. So this may well exclude many members who have info in MLS / LDS Account ⋅ The email addresses will only be updated for those members who have created an LDS Account. So this memb...

I'm seeing the same here. It was frustrating Sunday when it was down, I'd grown use to looking things up during Bishopric and Ward Council meetings.
