Re: Mevo stopped working
Is the Lehi SSID hidden and does it have a different password than Liahona?

Testimony Meetings with Remote Testomonies
After live-streaming testimony meeting today, I felt there may be some at home who may have wanted to share their testimonies. We currently use the Movi camera with an RTMP stream to the Church webcast platform. It has worked very well but is intentionally one-way and non-interactive. I believe Zoom...

Re: Mevo stopped working
I had this Splash Screen issue, so I posted on another thread about using the Mevo “HotSpot” setting to wirelessly tether the smartphone and use its data plan.
This does not use the smartphone’s hotspot, to be clear. It’s a neat tether using a WiFi SSID on the Mevo.

Mevo “HotSpot” - no WiFi needed
Per another post, I discovered that the Liahona WiFi now presents a new Splash Screen when used. However, a Mevo camera cannot work with a Splash Screen or similar “authentication” screens. A couple smart members helped me learn that the Splash Screen can be disabled for the Mevo using the WiFi admi...

Mevo Camera & Liahona WiFi Pop-up
We have successfully been using the Church recommended Mevo camera for live streams with the Church Webcast platform. It seems that the meetinghouse WiFi has recently been upgraded or updated. When accessing the Liahona WiFi, there is now a pop-up to accept for appropriate use. I don’t recall that b...

Re: Leave Wi-Fi on during broadcasts?
Couple thoughts -
1- Can prioritized WiFi QoS be turned on for the livestream resource?
2- Do all meeting houses have an Ethernet drop near the pulpit for a livestream resource?
I don’t see “turning off” WiFi as practical.

Re: Recurring events with Church Webcast scheduler
It’s been awhile since I’ve used those URL shorteners. I would hope to use them to have the same URL for the RTMP link and code. I’d then want a separate URL that stays the same for the public viewing link? Can someone remind me which site would be best to use for this and the steps to do it? Thanks...

Church Webcast options for Apple TV or Roku?
The Church Webcast system can be used to provide a URL for public live streaming via a browser without needing a member login. Many members and non-members have Apple TV, Roku or similar set top box systems like Google Cast because they are simple to use. Is there an app, channel or other way to liv...
