also, I believe there is some tiered streaming tech coming out in html5 that apple is putting in that would have similar functionality of adjusting quality to changing bandwidth. during conference it was just too choppy for me (vlc on linux) so my family and I just waited till conference audio was p...

vlc

for those having trouble on linux, copy the link for the audio and open vlc, then in vlc go to media -> open network stream.

On the address input field paste in the audio link from the website.

thanks for the replies, I now see I was thrown off by the horizontal separation on that link I gave, and that choosing the links on the bottom languages takes you to the raw media links.

Ways to access the raw video streams in past conferences?

In going to: http://www.lds.org/conference/languages/0,6353,310-1,00.html you have to install a "Move plug-in" which is only available for limited platforms. I use a less popular platform for home and work use (linux), is there a way to access the raw video streams so those of us not on mac/windows ...
