General Conference: stake presidency on the stand during local broadcasts?

In our stake we are hearing mixed guidance about something so I would welcome any comments/input on this issue - better yet, a definitive source (if one exists). Some stake leaders believe that the First Presidency has asked a member of the stake presidency to sit on the stand during any sessions of...

It would include [...] personal contact information Whatever you decide to do, you may want to bear in mind that confidential information should never be stored online using "shared internet services" such as Google Docs - take a look at slide 14 here: http://broadcast2.lds.org/eLearning/ics/Keepin...

Calendar access for Out Of Unit members

Although I searched to see of this question had already asked and didn't find anything, I may have missed it. If that's the case I apologise for duplicating. In short, is there any provision for or method whereby 'out of unit' members can view a different calendar than their own? As an example, in o...

Changing the display in month view from Sunday>Saturday to Monday>Sunday each week

Having searched carefully I couldn't find anyone else with a similar query but I apologise in advance if this has already been asked. In the UK it's customary, in general, for each week in a given calendar at home, work, etc to be displayed with Monday as the first day of the week; i.e. Monday to Su...

I don't have it in .doc myself, but it's available to download in PDF from here:

If you really need a Word file, and if you're technologically inclined, there are ways of making Word files from PDFs.

I'd recommend studing Chapter 17 from Handbook 2: Uniformity and Adaptation. Some things can never be changed, while others are up to local leaders to decide.

The leadership of our stake and the wards within it require everything quarterly and nothing monthly.

I wish to post only once and will then withdraw from this discussion. 1) On 3 June you said you have "enough on [your] plate". Every situation is different, but personally I would caution against an attitude of this kind. No matter how busy your life and calling may be, there is always someone even ...

lds.org data problem

I find it very useful to view "Members Moved In" under Reports at lds.org. When viewing this for one of the wards in our stake, though, I receive the following message: Sorry, something went wrong loading the requested data. Try refreshing the page, or try again later. It's been like that consistent...

The name can be slightly misleading if you're not familiar with the definitions. All that's "quarterly" about the report is the frequency with which it's submitted. The data itself will only ever relate to the last month in the quarter and not the entire quarter (except for a few one-offs like conve...
