Re: Can’t get beyond basic login

My daughter is having a problem logging into lds.org she puts in her user name & password to log in then when she hits the sigh-in button her user name & password both disappear and she has to start over! This has been happening every time she has tried to log in for a week so far to FamilyS...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Many thanks to R. Beatse, & Casper684 our Stake and calendar is handled much the same way except our deadlines like casper 684 are sooner. Another big exception is funerals do not take precedent, Bishops could ask but usually we work around planned Events. We are a smaller Stake than R. Beatse w...

RBeatse wrote:I can definitely agree. Our Stake President tells Stake and Ward leaders, “If it’s not on the calendar, it’s like it’s not really happening.”

I love that! I say the some thing like that but not quite as succinct as your Stake Pres. I’m going to borrow that.

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Well, you could solve the "crashes" by just showing the Event as a "Jones Family Event." In my Stake, I created a STAKE-LEVEL "Family Events" Calendar so those trying to check potential building availability with the (so far un-syncable) LDSTools, are able to see that ...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

When you use your iPad you are logged into LDS.org when you use your phone you are using Tools a different program. LDS.org shows events that are scheduled to the Locator calendar but Tools doesn’t. Usually items that are scheduled to the locator calendar are personal items like weddings, funerals, ...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

Is there a reason Last Modified By can’t be seen by anyone but Building Schedulers. Before the update it showed everyone who created the event, that way if people had questions or conflicts they knew who to call. Now only Building Schedulers can see this info. I realize you added the Organizer’s Inf...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released

I'm a Stake Building Scheduler for four buildings, I nothiced since the update on lds.org I don't see my own ward's calendars plus two of my Stake's calendars.

I was also wondering how do ward members subscribe to their different ward calendars now?

Re: Calendars not allowing edit

Post by CrockettDR » Thu Sep 17, 2015 10:58 am We also detected a problem involving repeating events. If you have a repeating event associated with a building/room, if you try to update that event for the entire series, it just returns you to the create screen and your update hasn't been saved. You...

I have my free Ancestry account through FamilySearch, was able to easily transfer some of my family from FamilySearch to get started. I have found some great information and more family that I want to transfer from Ancestry back to FamilySearch to add it with my tree. I thought I would move it back ...
