Re: New DNS Filtering Policy
I was able to get access to the admin portal of our filtering policy and made some adjustments to the categories and blacklists. You should see web and mobile access to social media platforms improve over the next 24 hours.

Re: Wireless/AirPrint printing from iOS and android devices
To echo the comments from previous posters, as long as your client device (phone, pc, laptop) are on the same IP segment as the printer, you will be able to print. Clients residing on the 192.168.108.0 /22 network on LDSAccess or Hardwired can share and use resources freely since it will not travers...

Re: Uninstall replaced Firewall from Tech Manager
Not sure why the feature is restricted to GSC personnel only so I'll ask about permissions. You can always open a ticket with the GSC and have them do it. Then if something break it's their fault :)... Well, the saga continues. The GSC wouldn't do anything. Maybe they're trying to avoid blame if it...

Re: Cortana not working on Meetinghouse Internet

Not sure why the feature is restricted to GSC personnel only so I'll ask about permissions. You can always open a ticket with the GSC and h...

Re: New DNS Filtering Policy
The biggest issue we see is that Meetinghouse bandwidth on Sundays is not primarily used for teaching the gospel. It's used to browse pinterest, facebook, update iphone and android software, snapchat, and others. Less than %25 of the content coming into Meetinghouses has been recorded as LDS relate...

Re: New DNS Filtering Policy
We need to be able to use Meetinghouse internet for teaching the Gospel on Sunday and retain the ability to prioritize bandwidth sensitive applications like streaming content from youtube.com, .... Last I knew, YouTube was blocked. Has that changed? I can understand blocking YouTube at large, but s...

Re: New DNS Filtering Policy
It would be nice if you could set the filter on say Saturday night to block all those sites and then Monday morning have it removed. Set something up like a cron job. Just my 2 cents worth. Terry Ha, I agree but the service is a world-wide policy attached to a multicast service in dozens of data ce...
