Notifications not available for custom calendar

We use a custom calendar for Bishopric Meeting and Spiritual Thought assignments. Notifications are set to email 2 days before the event, but about three weeks ago, we stopped receiving notifications. I went into my settings, and can not check the box to allow reminders from that calendar. Any ideas...

Interest to Other Accounts

In our recent financial audit, we were surprised by unassigned funds in the "Other" account. Upon further investigation we found that since our transition to CUBS we are now getting back the interest on those accounts, and it is recorded in our non-categorized "Other" account. It's usually less than...

Confidentiality with Send/Receive Changes

In a recent Stake Leadership Training our Stake Clerk instructed us on confidentiality. Several of the clerks mentioned that when an organization secretary (who has Organization access in MLS) hits Send/Recieve Changes, they get all pending printouts, including membership records that contain confid...

Seminary Attendance Reports

We received a letter this week from Seminaries and Institutes, instructing our Bishop that records of attendance at Seminary would be available through the MLS for this coming year.

Is this coming in an update, or does someone know where to find these reports so that we can get them to the Bishop?

For children of a household the sort order appears to be first by birthdate. In the test database the next sort order is by sex with males first then it is alpahbetical. I was unable to change the order in MLS. My test only duplicated what you are seeing. I added twins to a family with the girl's n...

Sort key for twin children on parent IOS/LUWS

I'm the ward clerk, and we just had twins. I noticed that when our record and IOS were updated that my children do not appear in correct birth order. The order that they appear in the IOS is also the same order that they appear on the LUWS. The first-born child (girl)'s record number is numerically ...

Missionary Funds Due Date

We have a missionary leaving from our unit. The Bishop asked me if there is a specified date by which the monthly funds are due from the family and other sponsors.

Does anyone know of an established date, or should the Bishop just set a date each month with the needs of the family in mind.

Information on performing Priesthood Blessings

I have been asked by our EQ to present a lesson on performing priesthood blessings and ordinances, including some discussion of "How do I...?" I have the instructions for performing the ordinances from HB2, however, is this information in publication someplace that I can provide to the members of th...

High Priest Ordination

We recently had an ordination to HP take place when the stake issued a call to the High Council. The call and ordination occured entirely at the Stake level, without coordination to the ward. Our ward was informed after the ordinance had been effected. In recording the ordinance: 1. Who should origi...
