CHQ fixed the issue that prevented Cisco APs from accessing the wireless network controllers. Now most MH APs have reestablished controller connections.

The meetinghouse wireless networks are likely functional, but Technology Manager is reporting Cisco APs as "Disabled" if the APs cannot find a wireless network controller. Even though a controller "Not found" message is flashing in TM, the APs are likely allowing normal network c...

It's difficult to know exactly why. Local network issues such as network/ISP, latency, VPN, hardware, etc. may be factors, but usually the issue is temporary.

I've noticed - some APs drop off the list. Normally a wireless network controller (e.g., field-wlc-2.ldschurch.org) is listed next to each AP in TM. TM is a stand-alone application that requires LDS Account user authentication. Firewall/AP activation is now done through TM, so whether TM will sometime support SSO is undertermined.Mikerowaved wrote:Why do I have to log in ...?

The latest TM release includes a convenient Dashboard feature allowing users to see network status and access networks devices without searching. As mentioned, users may need to clear browser cache to see features of the new release.
