Re: Calendar Rights
I am still the ward admin. I tried the beta calendar and that let me enter events on ward calendars. I went back and tried the current calendar and that worked too. I'm also a building scheduler, and around about a month ago, the private function calendar disappeared, then came back when I was given...

Calendar Rights
I am a ward website administrator and recently called as a stake website administrator. I can no longer create events in ward calendars. Is this an intentional restriction of rights (ie. stake admins can't create ward events and ward admins can't create stake events), or is there perhaps something w...

Church Headquarters does not keep a database of members pictures. If a picture is posted in a unit and the member moves to another ward, the picture does not go along with the membership record. I took a picture of a member and loaded it on our ward unit website. They moved out of the ward. When I ...

HT/VT Reporting
Some wards only require a report from the home teachers for the last month of each quarter. Perhaps you already allow for that option. Great work.

RussellHltn > It changed? I know the instructions say 180 x 135 but have you tried higher? A few minutes ago I uploaded an image in the membership directory exactly 180 x 135 pixels and 24.9 Kb. It was happy :). Uploading an image 181 x 135 pixels and 25.1 Kb provoked a decidedly different demeanor:...

I haven't had any success in getting members to use the photo options. What percentage of your online users upload photographs? What has been done to encourage its use? In my stake, only an administrator can upload photographs. The neat thing is, the photograph goes with the member when they move w...

Photographs on Unit Websites
Since the photograph resolution has been reduced to 180 pixels wide and 135 pixels high for the website membership directory I have found this is just too small to show a family photo and hence its use has been discontinued. It is sufficient resolution for a missionary because it is only one person....

I switched to using Linux over a year ago. Recently I tried running PAF in wine. It went through the installation OK, and it searched, and found my GEDCOM file. When I tried to enter data, it crashed. No complaints, I didn't expect it to get as far as it did. So I went with PhpGedView , which was su...
