Creating a missionary application/preparation workflow
New clerk here... my bishop just asked me to put together a workflow to help him better coordinate the missionary application/preparation workflow. For example, there have been some last-minute patriarchal blessings, some overly-rushed Melchizedek priesthood ordinations, etc. In looking at the data ...

Re: Help creating multi-value reports for staged return to meetings
After playing with the data in Excel, I think I've come up with a data-crunch hack. Paste the reports into a dedicated sheet (Primary with HoH, YM+YW with HoH) and then run a full member report with a HoH column. Use an IF function like this =IF(ISERROR(VLOOKUP(B2,Primary!D:D,1,FALSE)),"No Mino...

Re: Help creating multi-value reports for staged return to meetings
For those wondering how I did my calculations: I pulled up the member list, switched to household view, and scanned down the list. It didn't take long to pick out families with children on both sides of the age boundary and count the total number of members. That is probably the approach I would ta...

Help creating multi-value reports for staged return to meetings
Hello all, newly-called ward clerk here. I've been asked to help create a model for the 'return to church' plan that we may put in place in July. My idea that I'd like to test is to create 4 different reports: - Household report with anyone who has children 11 years old and younger - Household repor...

Audio levels for Meridian Idaho Temple Dedication
Has anyone else been suffering through the Meridian Dedication broadcasts? For us, using satellite, we've had tremendous fluctuations in audio levels. It has been disruptive to keep adjusting the master satellite audio in our new digital sound system rack. So, some suggestions: Someone should be mon...

Best browser for webcast viewing?
I logged into the webcast portal site today and received two warning messages, one about reverting to 2.4.7 on our Teradek and another about NOT using Chrome or Firefox to view the streams. What that message was missing was guidance on which browser to use. Does anyone have insight into whether Edge...

Re: What is the purpose of LDSAccess?
Well... So far the feedback I'm getting... If I were the product manager for LDSAccess, I'd say, "the LDSAccess wifi network is an ad-hoc service delivering Internet and building connectivity on an as-available basis without any service level or service quality commitments." Which doesn't ...

Re: What is the purpose of LDSAccess?
Thanks for the reply, definitely have that info, but I should have clarified... Should we limit access to what we can provide? For example, if the infrastructure only will reliably support MLS functions, then shut off WiFi? Or should we build a budget to invest in better infrastructure to provide fa...

What is the purpose of LDSAccess?
I've been asked by my stake president to create a long term technology plan for our stake. This includes developing a strategy for meetinghouse internet. What are your opinions on the purpose of WiFi in our buildings? What SLA should we be shooting for? How about QOS? I've searched for official guid...
