Re: Hyperlinks in LDS Calendar

OK so I *never* use laptop or desktop computing devices anymore for personal work. When I log in to the Church web site from my mobile device, there is no “gear” icon which would give me the URL to synch my calendar using my device operating system. How can I get this information from my mobile login?

Re: Successful Stake Conf Broadcast.

Good feedback. I think Azure has K8S capability as an option but I could be wrong. Anyway, the reason I posted is I am sad to report that recent webcasting difficulties in my stake have resulted in proposals to rent out a stadium-style facility for thousands of people which will probably cost way mo...

Re: Successful Stake Conf Broadcast.

It has been over five years since the last activity on this post. I will assume all of the technical advice is now obsolete. I came here to search for Kubernetes to see whether anyone was discussing it, and was disappointed to see the answer is no.

Re: Slack invite

The link above is broken. I would so much enjoy using Slack more than this official forum!

Re: Finally Able to Post on our Recent Webcast Experience

Ok so it has been over a decade since the last post on this. I think I will start a new post unless someone can definitively state that technology change has not made all of these suggestions obsolete.

Out of curiosity, are these multiple camps for "the Scouts" (generally referring to the deacons) or is this multiple camps for the YM as a whole. For example, for at least the last few years, our Priests have had one activity, Teachers another, and the Deacons go to Scout camp. It's partially justi...

MLS allows you to transfer funds between subcategories in the same major category (Budget, Missionary, Other) without having to cut checks. There is a feature on the Finance Screen (bottom right panel) or in the menu, Finances > Enter Transfer (ctrl + F). In the left of the screen that opens, selec...

I am fairly certain my Bishop has learned the hard way that having multiple camps for Scouts is not a good idea. I thought that the whole point of that policy was to restrict the number of retreats/camps that could be paid for out of the Budget, but it appears that you interpret it to be restrictive...

Multiple entries of correction possibility

Alan_Brown: Thanks for the great suggestions. There was not a problem with multiple categories (changed check draw from one "Budget" category to a single "Other" subcategory) and there was only one correction listed on the finance statement. The temporary item had actually been carried forward since...

Alan_Brown: How do you do this "transfer" function you speak of...I have never heard of it and I certainly don't think it is in the training. I had the following experience...I wrote the check from about 30+ sub-subcategories (and in some cases sub-sub-subcategories) of the "Other" category and it r...
