thanks...
Okay, thanks I'll give it a few days and see when it shows up. I'm in CDOL (as the correct calling) now and it works fine for me to login also. I'll just wait for the "leaders" site to be updated and check back in a few days

leader access timeframe?
Okay, so I now have the correct "Assistant ward clerk" calling in my ward MLS which is also showing up in new.lds.org/directory .... however, when I go to new.lds.org/leaders it still says "access denied" Is there a lag time of how soon after MLS is updated until you have access? Or does some ward o...

MLS web by end of 2011?
http://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.php?p=51701#post51701 this thread says that they're working on getting MLS updating Web functions up and running by the end of 2011... If it's like most IT development those dates / goals will probably slip a bit.... but it's good to see that they at least have ...

New MLS web version online!
https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/Leader_Portal http://new.lds.org/leader Well, it looks like the REAL answer to the question is that YES the church FINALLY has an MLS web app that is approaching what MLS windows is now! See the above links for access. *Note: You have to have the "standard callin...

standardized callings
Yeah, I guess technically I am an assistant ward clerk and so I need to have the calling list in MLS updated to reflect that so that I can get the correct rights. Thanks for helping me understand that. What about website admin rights to upload photo directory pictures? In the old Ward directory site...

Why not synch callings in MLS and Ward website?
I realize that the ward "website" only reports "membership record" type of information. However, since the ward website is already storing callings and so is the MLS Windows version, why not GET THE TWO PROGRAMS TO SYNC up? A simple "Synching" process would be very easy to implement (most PDAs have ...

Ward Website in synch with MLS?
One computer just isn't enough for most wards. A web app would save time and money for the church and it's members. If some of the most private and sacred work is being done online (temple work) and even online banking for many years (in the commerical industry), why can't the church put up a simple...

MLS Web access
I agree that one computer just isn't enough for most wards. I have lived in wards of 300 - 350 active people (700-750 on the records). And one computer per 700 people or per 300 seems minimal. A web app would save time and money for the church and it's members. If some of the most private and sacred...

Ward picture directory - useless size limit
There is a Ward Picture directory option available on the ward/stake website. You have to be an administrator in order to add pictures. Also be aware of the limit of 135 x 180 pixels in place for each picture. Why not let EACH MEMBER upload his/her own picture(s)? This used to be there but was taken...
