Re: Primary Gospel Art Picture Kit Online?
https://sites.google.com/site/ldsmeetinghouselibraryprimary/ It isn't terribly easy to use; the pictures are organized by category, not manual. And the pictures are low resolution, barely big enough to show on a tablet. But you can at least preview them when preparing the lesson. The library should ...

Re: Hearing aids in other rooms
The Williams-Sound interpretation equipment, normally used for language translation, should work for this situation, and will be in the FM group catalog. (Whether they will pay for it is a different issue.) I don't know how the costs compare with the Comtek equipment.

Re: Need audio in largest portion of the cultural hall ONLY.
The sensor on the last folding door in our meetinghouse broke (I think a basketball was responsible). Rather than fix it, our FM group just bypassed it, so sound is in both areas whether the door is open or not. If that would meet your needs, it should be very easy for FM to configure that. (I like ...

Re: Facebook
It's a great resource, but I wouldn't use anything close to their "example" permission form. It grants irrevocable and exclusive access to any past, present, or future recordings, documents, etc. related to anyone who signs it. I'm not a lawyer, but doubt any lawyer would recommend giving ...

Re: Reading in new members after realignment
The same thing happened in our ward recently. The bishopric read them all in. I appreciated putting names to the new faces, so think it is worth the time. Also, a couple of families were missed, and it gave them the opportunity to get their records straightened out.

I've been using the StarTech unit as well. Just be sure to set the Mode switch on the side to "HD". Although the "PC" setting works with most televisions, it won't work with the VidiU.

Re: Family ordinance cards can be printed at home
From the FAQ at the bottom of https://familysearch.org/blog/en/print-temple-ordinance-cards-home/: The ability to print family ordinance cards from home will be activated stake by stake, based on which temple district you live in. This process started in November, 2015, and will continue through the...

Re: Scriptures "Listen" audio doesn't work in Windows 10
It works fine for me in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on Windows 10. I know that javascript is required, so make sure that is enabled. But I don't know what is require beyond that.

Re: HDMI / audio output
Our stake's projector (an Epson, but I forget the model) doesn't have an audio out jack, so I purchased an HDMI audio extractor box. I haven't seen an official church recommendation for a particular brand, but they are easy to find.

Re: Companionship Principle when making bank deposits
JDLessley's explanation is my understanding as well. If circumstances prevent both people from having sight of the bag until it is deposited (e.g., same-day deposit is not possible or logistics prevent traveling in the same vehicle), they should write down the serial number from the bag before separ...
