Mac FamilyTree and new FamilySerach
Mac FamilyTree does not mind that I mention that they have been making progress with our FamilySearch APIs. I presented their product and the plans to interface with new FamilySearch at a seminar this summer at the AppleStore in Salt Lake City. No talk about when but I can say they are serious.

There are many consumer oriented services for hosting photos. Some make it possible to select who can see them and the resolutions of the images. Hopefully the training and priesthood leadership that is a part of the roll-out temple by temple district will promote the responsibility that we all have. .92 is going into beta January 23rd. 1.0 version is reserved for when the site is public for non-members.

Ordinance Reservations
Your comments are greatly appreciation. We are looking at better mechanisms for transfering owndership from one contributor to another in the case of death. Then the new owner could handle the names. Also the issue of expiring reservations is still being considered but no decision has been made yet.
