Re: Retiring calendar restrictions

I have been newly called as Stake Clerk and am encountering an existing calendar restriction that I cannot seem to delete in order to add Stake Conference Information for the Stake units to view. Can you help me? Any of the stake/ward building schedulers should be able to help out. Also, it's gener...

Display of calendars when adding an event

I wanted to pass along an observation that over time has proven to be an issue. It's a simple thing of the list of calendars being un-ordered when adding/updating an event (in this case, stake events). In our case, we have several Stk Leadership-??? categories -- these all sort fine when viewing the...

Re: Updating profile photo not working

Something else I just noticed per the update. Some members photos aren't displaying automatically. If I press on the '+' sign for their photo to update it (I'm thinking I have this option due to my calling as Stake Exec Sec), then the photo appears for the member if they posted one -- it's as if I d...

Re: Updating profile photo not working

I just updated LDS Tools on my iPhone5 to version 3.0.1 and was then able to successfully upload a picture. However, the 'constrain' feature when adjusting the photo is a bit confusing...hopefully others find it more intuitive.

Updating profile photo not working

I'll appreciate feedback per an issue I was recently made aware of by some ward members with iPhones. This is in regard to uploading a profile picture using the app -- in my test, I tried this on an iPhone 5s with iOS 9.3.1 using LDS Tools 2.5.1. After selecting a picture and confirming to upload, a...

Re: Retiring calendar restrictions

I know there have been some problems with people using restrictions for other purposes, and some people don't understand them (it is indeed a somewhat complex concept). But I really don't like the decision to simply remove a very useful feature. I don't share your faith that it will work out well t...

Re: Issue with display of Stake 'Other Callings' when viewing lds.org directory

... I'll be looking at fixing it in the next few days. I just looked at 'Other Callings' under Stake Leaders and Organizations for our stake and noticed all sub-categories are now gone. What I see is a very long list of callings with similar ones listed together, but as a whole in no particular ord...

Re: Issue with display of Stake 'Other Callings' when viewing lds.org directory

I like having all the organizations on the top level rather than buried. Several of the buried callings are ones I access frequently. Do we know why this change was made? I agree with sbradshaw -- having org lists nested under 'Other Callings' seems unnecessary, but perhaps the reasons for this cou...
