Re: Church broadcasts using MEVO
I just wanted to +1 on using Mevo for easily broadcasting Sacrament meetings. It is a relatively inexpensive solution that's easy for a non-technical user to be trained to set up and turn on/off. The pinch to zoom is also really effectively done. We plan to charge ours between meetings so they don't...

Re: Questions regarding online documentation
@rannthal One more little thing -- in the "Nearest Region" drop down, could those be listed as cities instead of regions? Screen Shot 2017-01-05 at 12.33.13 PM.png I'm in Texas, and I have no idea whether I should use Central US, South Central, or North Central... Using city names for the ...

Re: Questions regarding online documentation

Re: Questions regarding online documentation
Thanks for such a speedy reply, and for the go aheads on firmware and audio quality changes. To clarify what I meant on the Mono Left issue -- the online Vidiu setup says explicitly to set the Vidiu to Mono Left only mode. So that should be updated if stereo is the only supported/working option. I g...

Questions regarding online documentation
Last night we tested our webcast for this weekend's Stake Conference. This will be the 2nd time we've used the Vidiu solution. Our test was a whale of a fail, triggering me to pretty much spend 3 hrs afterward tearing apart the system bit by bit to isolate and check each component. In doing so, I we...

Re: Stabliity or quality of stream?
Unless you have super high quality HD cameras at the source location and HD capable projectors at the recieving locations you are wasting your energy. Seems like the Achilles heel of the solution will remain so-so SD cameras at the stake center and cruddy SD computer projectors at the chapels. I ha...

Re: manage home/visiting teaching and callings on lds.org
As a Bishopric member, I can log in and see the home teaching stuff on LCR. If I make a change, it does not save. My wife is the VT coordinator. She can see Visiting Teaching only, and her May entries into MLS are not in LCR. (They were entered before we got the notification on Sunday that LCR was r...

Re: MLS 3.7.4 23478 - Standard Callings No Longer Appear
Oh, and one other silly thing... I swear MLS is eating callings. We have members who appear on our Members Without Callings List who have had callings in the system for months and who no one touched...
