Re: Need help with records

The process for changing the birth date on a member's record as described by eblood66 is correct. I followed it today though only to get an error message stating "Birth date must precede the record creation date". The birth date had been (example) 21 Dec 2009 but it should have been 14 Aug...

Re: member status is incorrect on IOS

Thank you. I contacted them. They said that they will push down our membership data base. That should reset our data. They suggested that it might also be a browser problem. They suggested using Chrome but we were already using that. I like your answer eblood66. I will keep the forum posted on the o...

member status is incorrect on IOS

On a member's record as well as on his wife's record, all of the ordinance dates including baptism, confirmation and priesthood offices are correct. He and she are members of the Church. When I print their IOS forms, the Present Spouse section for each of them shows Member NO. Has anyone seen that b...

Re: Christmas on Sunday

There are two wards in our building. We are meeting together at 10 am for Sacrament meeting on Christmas Eve morning. Any suggestions on taking a fair attendance? There will be out of town family and guests (unfamiliar faces). I am trying to get a fair count during this last month of the quarter.

Re: Text designation

I support wrigjef in his quest to have a radio button designating an acceptance of the use of texting as a preference for a method of contact by members of the Church. Having served as a stake clerk and a ward clerk for a number of years, I can testify that fewer and fewer people answer phone calls ...

Re: Changing a members last name

I followed the above directions in changing a member's legal name all the way to the point of Save. (The name was legally changed by the member who had a legal document attesting to the authenticity of the change. When I clicked Save, this message appeared "Please review the warnings and make c...
