Re: How to stop YT from recording / posting live streams?

YouTube has three privacy levels: [*] Public - is wide open. Video is searchable. This is your typical video on YouTube. [*] Unlisted - only accessible by those who have the link. This is "private" by obscurity. The video will not show up in search results, but can be added to playlists. [...

Re: How to stop YT from recording / posting live streams?

I'm curious what happens if a stream is deleted while someone is watching it? Are they allowed to complete it, or are they cut off? I'm thinking about someone who started late and is now 5 minutes behind "live". Not a problem for as we disable DVR in the event. Viewers are forced to watch...

Re: Zoom Webinar 500 Participant Limit Increase?

As mentioned, use Zoom’s RTMP to church webcast for general viewing. Further, use Zoom’s translation audio channel feature for other languages. Translators do not need to be on site. They can translate from home. Then ONLY share Zoom webinar info to those needing translation. Everyone else views fro...

Re: Church broadcasts using MEVO

For clarity, Mevo can still stream to YouTube after December 1st. It is only the convenient event selection and PUBLISH integration that will no longer work.

You can still use the manual RTMP method. Setting YouTube event to automatically go live can help here, as well.

Re: Church broadcasts using MEVO

Mevo's adapter has two modes... * True PoE where power is delivered from a PoE injector, often a network switch that supports such. In this mode, only the Ethernet cable is connected as data and power go over it. From Mevo's documentation, only this adapter is supported for true PoE. * USB-C power p...
