Re: Local server for lds.org

sometimes they feel the 'inspiration' to share in the middle of the class not having prepared ahead of time what they will be saying. The video then shows up in the Video section of your library and can be played di...

Recently LDSTools (the mobile app on smartphones) added the ability to upload photos directly from the phone to the directory. Unfortunately their photo size settings were off for the first few days after their release. As a result, photos uploaded through LDSTools during this time are too large whe...

The problem with the uploader in Firefox is being caused by a problem with the network infrastructure. Unfortunately it is proving to be very difficult to fix. Luckily, the problem the network is causing is only affecting Firefox. It's possible this won't be fixed until we release the next version o...

Currently there is a plan to replace the landing page feature of the old classic site with a unifying app that will bring all the other pieces together, however, this project is still in the concept phase. I'm not sure if the classic site will hang around until this piece is implemented, or if the p...

2.0.7.3 was temporarily rolled back while we investigate an error we were seeing in the application logs, so this issue is not fixed in the current code. I expect 2.0.7.3 to be re-deployed shortly. You should see the fix then.

One of the features of the upgrade is the ability to process these profile edits in real-time. So this issue is resolved now. For the time being there is still a 24-hour message...

When our ward split a few months ago, it took over a week before I saw the new ward in the list, and probably about another week before people were listed correctly in the new ward. It all depends on how quickly CHQ processes the papers for the new ward, and then how quickly the new ward clerk and s...

As a website admin you should be able to manage photos for your ward, but you won't be able to edit any household profiles but your own. Website admins are not authorized to edit membership records, so they don't have that ability in the Directory application.
