Great question, RusselHltn. The best answer that I can give is that Stack Exchange is not a "forum". It's specifically designed to make sure that people get an answer to their questions, and weed out duplicate questions. As a support system goes, this is invaluable. There are many more features of t...

RootsDev

I know this may be the wrong location for this type of a post, but I'm going to go with it. A group of us (some LDS, some not) are attempting to support he larger genealogy and family history community by creating a Q&A site on the excellent Stack Exchange platform. We are currently a few members aw...

Is there going to be a platform agnostic version? I'm running OSX 10.6, so this doesn't work for me unless I get VMWare or Parallels. I'd like to run it natively, if possible.

Scott, I opened up your Greasemonkey script and saw the long XPath query you have. As a suggestion (I don't know if it would be better with it or not) the newest version of prototype.js (1.5.1) has some very cool node traversal functions. I have been using them here at work. Namely: $(element).down(...

You can always add the Building Coordinator under the Leadership Directory > Other area. That is where we show that information.

Thanks,

I have to laugh because I had thought of that. Being a web developer I sometimes try to fool the tools to do what I want. I'll do that next time. Thanks!

I'd like to be able to approve a block of News/Information/Calendar items all at once. I just got through 31 new calendar items one of our Sisters just submitted. Although I'm totally grateful she entered it all in, I don't want to have to touch each and every submission and comment on it. Also, I g...

Correct. However we are aware that times are changing and we need to look at new policies and rules and new technology emerges. We will look at this as we evaluate our new set of policies. Well, that is all I can ask for. :-) Maybe there is something similar we could do if the system were able to b...
