Re: LDS Tools won't complete syncing

What do we do to get a more recent version into the Amazon app store? Or what would account for me not being able to get the latest version from the app store?

Re: LDS Tools won't complete syncing

Just came across this while trying to debug my wife's issue on her kindle8, led tools acts like it's starting to sync and then immediately goes back to the login screen. She is a seminary teacher. I thought mine (also kindle 8) was fine, then discovered it hadn't synced since Jan 25, 2018 (1.5 years...

New Calendar: reserving resource for event setup/teardown

(This was posted at ldsmediatalk.com on an old thread, so I'm reposting it here for comments.) I used the calendar setup wizard yesterday with our Bishop (using his credentials), and it worked quite well. Two issues came up after the import process: 1) We had PEC/WC in the old calendar listed as all...

New Calendar: reserving resource for event setup/teardown

The new calendar system doesn't have a way to reserve time when creating an event for setup and cleanup, which means that the only way to make sure that a conflict isn't created is for all participants to create (up to) three events for every real event. According to the LDS Tools support - iPhone - iPad wiki page, you can email bug reports to ldstools-iphone@ldschurch.org . Since the problem noted is apparently only affecting the webOS version, and is caused by what appears to be an API failure, I was hesitant to complain at the iphone team.

webOS ldstools version is currently not working

One of the web api urls that the webOS version uses to download leadership info isn't working at the moment, which means that attempts to download your stake data will fail. The failure message is this: "Unit Leaders Download Failed. Please Try Again. Error FAILURE downloadUnitLeaders:404 -" https:/...

For those looking for the webOS version

This version can be downloaded from http://snyder.dnsalias.org/lds-tools_0.4.5_all.ipk (md5sum: ace77bfcbcc2ca0af9b979b683192343). It is provided with no warranty. For the curious (or suspicious), as near as I can tell every build has a slightly different size even when there are no code changes, so...

... The program then downloads up to 98% of the data, fades out and eventually closes. When I try to reopen the app, it starts with the splash screen and then shuts down. I also tried it on my wife's phone with her credentials and the result was the same. We are both running iOS 4.1 with iphone/ito...

...have tried the Alpha version for Blackberry on one of the stake presidency's phones, and I couldn't get it to work. OH! My stake president is going to call me this week to install it on his blackberry. I'll cross my fingers-- he knows it's not a "released" version and may not work, but it would ...

versions available?

zaneclark wrote:Again, which platforms are up and running?

I packaged the webOS version and provided it to the 2nd counselor in my bishopric-- he's quite impressed with it (especially since it's still an early version).

It turns out to be pretty easy to create the webOS installation package.
