Thanks Mike,

Could we also have the familysearch authorities module put into the repository?

https://api.familysearch.org/authorities/downloads.html

Thanks,
Chris

Mike, We would love to have the timeline project under Sonar. I was also wondering what the best way to include familysearch artifacts. Is there a maven repository that is hosting them that we could include in maven configuration? I know that they use Enunciate to generate client libraries and they ...

Multi-module stack projects

If we are working on a multi-module stack project, what is a good rule-of-thumb for needing a deploy and a qa module? Here is an example. We have the normal setup: timelines/ db deploy qa web (produces a war artifact) We are also integrating with some of the FamilySearch services, so I have added th...

Here are my thoughts as to how to store the event times in the database. We are designing for speed of filtering according to, first, the time of the event, and second, to the location of the event: ⋅ Store dates as char: very flexible, but we would need to load the whole table into memory...

Neal, I have had some problems with the m2eclipse plugin and generic Eclipse . I haven't tried it on NetBeans, but it sounds like it is not copying all the dependencies to the server instance. In this case it seems to be missing one of the CXF jars (from stack-rs module). Check your web/target/timel...

Using another IDE for Stack Projects

This is from an email between Neal Midgley and the Church Timeline Project team: Hey everyone, I'm trying to run the app, but I am getting the attached errors. Any ideas? Also, I've noticed building these m2 LDS stack apps fails in any IDE other than the one provided for the community. Has anyone ha...

I'm not sure what needs to be done to upgrade the cdol-constants jar to stack 3.0. All that jar has in it is 2 enums that have the position type ids and the organization type ids. Yes, for cdol at least the only thing is to update their maven pom files to use stack 3 as the parent. I have done that...

SSO integration with Java Stack Applications

I have just tested the SSO Simulator with a stack project, and it is really slick. Are there any plans to integrate the SSO Simulator environment with the Stack IDE? I was thinking of automatically starting up the Simulator proxy when starting Tomcat and switching the base url to local.lds.org. I do...
