Prospective Elders Lists & Rolls for Groups
I am half of a senior couple serving in Botstana, Africa. My previous calling was as Stake Clerk in the US. There is one copy of MLS for a branch and 3 groups. All the records are in a single database on one computer that is just for our district. I am acting as clerk for all 4 units. How do I gener...

Re: Branch/Group Operations
Excellent suggestions. Geocodes might be easier than custom criterion. I will check them out.

Re: Download large Youth Videos Zip File
The real problem is that the Internet is so slow here that it takes multiple hours download a large file. It would really help if the capability existed to 1) download the files in much smaller chunks that would be assembled into the complete file after all the parts were downloaded. OR 2) have the ...

Re: Download large Youth Videos Zip File

I tried to download the LDS youth videos and the dialog box said the 1-3 videos were over 1GB in size and would take over 1 day to...

I talked by our FM group manager about this camera mounting method. He had 2 problems with it. 1) The design has not been approved and anything suspended could cause injury if there is a design flaw because it was not engineered correctly. 2) Once you have opened the ceiling you have penetrated the ...

What is Ideal Number of Cameras for Webcast?
I have had one Stake Conference and used a single camera with local operator on a tripod near the video port on the side near the back of the chapel. This was my first Webcast and the technology worked mostly OK. There were some comments from the other buildings that the members felt that the speake...

Diamond VC500 Video Capture
About 2 weeks ago I installed this device on my computer and was able to create a web cast with no problems. (I am using the Beta webcast software.) I tried it again yesterday as part of the dry run for Stake Conference but now the video (same camera and cables) flickers randomly and is only in blac...
