Re: Temple Ordinances

You can also see your own recommend expiration date in Member Tools. And in Member Tools you can set a reminder that "it will expire in: 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, or 8 weeks." To set the reminder, go to Settings and scroll down near the bottom (on the Android version). iOS should be simi...

Re: Missionary Name is not showing up on donation slip

In the interim, the family can donate to the ward missionary fund and the clerk can move the donation after the account is set up. They would need to donate to the "ward" fund and not the "General" fund (the general fund is swept to cover missionary needs in other areas and count...

Re: Online Expense Reimbursement Request Form

I believe digitally combining them all into one .pdf is unnecessary - there are already checks and balances in the system to minimize the risk of inappropriate actions with respect to the financial records. If the church thought it was important to combine them all into a single document, there woul...

Re: Online Expense Reimbursement Request Form

So were the auditors satisfied with that process? I am questioning the need for the request cover page if it all happens in LCR from beginning to end. Having the receipt as one document and the cover as another makes my bishop uncomfortable, so I spend a lot of time trying to combine the cover page...

Re: Entire Website Down?

thechurchofjesuschriat.org does not exist, because the spelling is incorrect That spelling was wrong, but the site was having problems yesterday and today. I could view the site OK as long as I didn't try to log in - when I tried to log in I got a page not found message. This page still does not lo...

Re: Magazine subscriptions

I'm no longer the clerk, but if I recall correctly, the subscription was to be paid from the budget (at least the first year, anyway). I believe you should be able to order online and have it direct-billed to the ward budget, just like other orders through the online store. You will see an IROP (Int...

Re: Report of Returned Missionaries

As a possible workaround: If you print to a .pdf document (from the missionary system), you should be able to copy the release dates from the saved document, then paste them into a spreadsheet. I no longer have access to that system so can't check my theory.

Re: LDS Account Password Policies

I have never used a password that long for church sites or apps and have never had any problems (on the web or on my Android device). My current password is 8 digits and a mix of numbers and letters (no special characters). I have a fingerprint scanner on my Android device that I use for it (unlocks...

Re: Head of household

Yes, I took it that way. I have seen cases where it makes sense to split them off. I have seen other cases where splitting them off is the worst thing (at that time). It all depends on the circumstances and what is best for the youth and family. When I was clerk, we would usually leave returned miss...

Re: Head of household

Some wards have the policy that if the child has left home for any reason (school, work, mission) and then returns, they should be their own HoH. And some wards have no such policy, LOL. But I absolutely agree that it can affect ministering routes and assignments which is why I think the Bishop sho...
