Re: Ward Website Administrator Access Privledges
We called a Mid Week Announcement person to deliver announcements that we don't get out from the podium. It is a specialized calling so I can't giver her access to the things that help her to send out announcements. Try the "Information Specialist" calling, the person who does the bulleti...

Re: Can't get to directory services.

Re: Update to portal.ldswebcast.org?
I was able to watch our Stake Conference on my laptop, from home yesterday afternoon and again last evening. But today, I only have video, and no audio. What to do now? Sister Robbins I would start with a reboot and switching to Chrome (if you aren't already using it). From what I understand, most ...

Re: Can't get to directory services.
I'd use the "contact us" in the app to report it. I'm guessing your wife has access to some additional information and there's something funny about it that's confusing the app. I tried reporting, but it didn't let me send a report, so I sent in an email to ldstools-android@ldschurch.org ...

Re: WPA and WPA2
Probably for compatibility reasons. You can search and find the password for the LDSAccess network, so its not like security is really a concern.

Re: two way stake conference
Some have suggested using the Personal Video Conference software for that, the issue is having their sound and video show up at the transmitting end only when they are speaking. What we have done for Q&A sessions is to have everyone (in the building or not) text their questions to a member of th...

Update to portal.ldswebcast.org?
I went to portal.ldswebcast.org and found that its been updated, there is now an option to mark a receiving location as "low bandwidth" as well as a complete overhaul of the webpage. I like it, I am just wondering what changes are made when you mark a location as low bandwidth. Has anyone ...
