Which would suggest to me that the decision for the individual might be based on their skill set. If it's a common skill set, then they may be better off going direct. If it's a hard to fill position, then a recruiter may be better. Honestly, the best way to apply for a position is by having a curr...

I know that the Church has full time recruiters so their use of external recruiters would be fairly limited. Maybe Cassie knows as she originally came from HR? Tom The Church often uses external recruiters for hard to fill positions. As a hiring manager, I do not differentiate between those who app...

lakeytw, are you saying the blocking is done by websense based on how the page is categorized rather then a church white-list? I'm not understanding how sending a message to websense accomplishes what we want. Websense categorizes sites. Uncategorized sites and objectionable sites are currently blo...

I have spoken to one of the product managers involved. He indicated that using different block pages was an intentional choice. He also indicated that in the future there may be an initiative to change the block page to allow a site to be reviewed. One work arround would be to send an email to: sugg...

Thanks for looking into this. However, just to clarify, the FHC and CCN are usually the same sites. Where I am reporting problems is with the Church-managed ASA firewall (not the PIX that is typically in the CCN nodes that are part of FHCs). These ASA firewalls are installed as part of the new Meet...

Oops, I didn't realize there were two different block pages for FHC and these new CCN sites. Let me check into why it was implemented this way and see what can be done.

If we do work through the process of submitting requests for access to blocked sites, and a previously blocked site is allowed, is that request processed for just that one firewall installation, or is the new permission pushed out to all users of the LDS Extended Access profile? [/LIST] Access poli...

Do we have a Church employee that is willing to address this?
I believe the process for requesting sites be reviewed and recategorized is by submitting them from the block page.

I believe there is a link from the block page to request access to a site be reviewed.
