Re: Online reimbursement using jotform
So it IS possible to print the completed documentation? If someone has used Jotform or something similar, could you confirm that? And it sounds like you can go online and see the form along with the approvals? Does anyone know if the online 'history' shows who gave approvals?

Re: Online reimbursement using jotform
Not being familiar with Jotform and similar sites, do these sites have an audit trail so that when expenses are pulled for the mid-year and year-end audits, the auditor has something to show that the bishop/branch president or the stake/district president have approved the expense? Or will the audit...

Re: Financial Clerk Training - Audit Question
When you say 'carry out' the audit, what do you mean? I'm confused about why anyone who is supposed to be involved with the audit (bishop, finance clerk, etc) or the auditor would not have the ability to enter LUFAS. Is it a matter of that person not being listed with a calling that gives them acces...

Re: Changes to rules, learned in Audit
As an Assistant Area Auditor, as soon as I hear about audit changes like this, I try to get the word out. Most often changes clarify existing policies or procedures that are stated in the Handbooks. However, the existing written materials may not say it clearly. Changes in audit questions seem to be...

Re: Audit - new bishopric
Another reason to audit early. The audit department can waive an audit when there has been a change in leadership recently. However, it IS a wonderful teaching opportunity. The new bishop can learn a lot early in his tenure.

Local disaster relief
I have been asked about what Church policies affect the use of Church accounts when members in a stake want to provide donations that would be transferred to a ward impacted by the natural disaster. Is it appropriate to collect funds through either online donations or donations to one's own ward or ...

Nonmember listed in MLS Members without Callings report
MLS allows you to print a report showing members who do not have callings. (Organizations >> Reports/Tools >> Members without Callings) Whilst looking at the printout this morning, I noticed that a man who is not a member of the Church (but who has a record number -- presumably one of those 'adminis...

The other thing missing in the panel (along with the link for seminary and institute info) is the link for Church audits. Gee, I guess that means the Church is doing away with audits! Right? :) By the way, my stake is NOT (at least has not been in the past and no one said anything recently) a beta t...

After marriage, who decides where records go?
We recently had a sister in our ward who was sealed in the temple. The temple recorded the sealing. And then her records were moved out of our ward to her husband's ward -- apparently automatically. Or at least we didn't send her record. The problem was that instead of her moving into his ward, he i...
