Eric, I'm not sure how that would help us. The statement in MLS is not a form pdf is it?

In the final release of MLS 2.8 the Unit Statements are included as a 'Saved Form' in the 'Reports/Forms' panel. I've not been able to find an actual PDF of the statements (like found earlier buried under the Afaria folder). That's unfortunate. One of the advantages of the actual PDF was that in the...

Sample form to track callings

Whilst serving as a stake executive secretary a few years ago, we developed a form to help us track callings. See the attached. I then started to try to adapt it for use in a ward. Perhaps this will help someone. I used the form as the basis for a HandBase database on my Dell Axim.

Unit Statements delivered via MLS?

Whilst trying to find something else this past weekend, I happened to notice 3 PDFs buried deep in the Afaria folder: 200711_cfs, 200712_cfs & 200801_cfs. When I opened then I was (pleasantly) surprised to find our unit's Nov 2007, Dec 2007 and Jan 2008 unit financial statements. The file dates of 8...

We had ward conference this last weekend. With the ability to print the Officers Sustained-Ward form to PDF, it's actually fairly easy to fill in the blanks, print to PDF, open the PDF, select all, copy and then paste into a word processing program. A couple minutes later the First Presidency has be...

I'd have to go back and play with MLS, but perhaps the "date" function you are looking at is only for filling in the dates on the attendance rolls (Sept 2, Sept 9, Sept 16, Sept 23, etc.) and not for calculating the rolls. I'm sure you're right. But what that means is, for example, when I get ready...

Class lists based on a future date

In preparation for the 2008 curriculum order, I thought it might be nice to give organizations a list of what classes would look like as of 1 Jan 2008. For the Young Men and Young Women, I also wanted to prepare a report as of 30 Jun 2008 and 31 Dec 2008. Much to my surprise, I found it doesn't work...

More on MLS 2.6f problem with nonmember husbands

I mentioned a possible workaround -- creating a nonmember record and then adding the member spouse. That's not quite complete. You can create a nonmember record and then, in the sister's records, add the nonmember as her husband. Of course, if she is already married, that probably means terminating ...

MLS 2.3f6

We had 2.6 pushed to us this weekend. The software requested a unit refresh. After that refresh a problem we had observed in the past happened again. But this time we're not sure how to 'fix' it. The refresh affected families where the husband is not a member and the wife if. After the refresh, the ...
