Yea, but it could also be lost (fell out of the temple bag, wallet, etc.) Someone picks it up and recognizing it trys to get in the temple. This sort of thing happens but since they do not receive any blessings from attending the Temple without a valid Temple Recommend issued to them by someone hol...

Something else you might want to add to your message is that your broadcast may be sent to only specific groups, but the members themselves select what groups they belong to. So if you're sending something to YSA and leaders, you might want to say "This message was sent to all YSA and Unit leaders....

I'm not sure what the problem is here or whether it is global or has been corrected but when I moved to another ward I was able to log into my new Ward's website almost immediately. That is it was less than a week. There has to be something else that affects why certain members or wards are having p...

To me that seems like it would defeat the purpose... then the site map would just be like another set of menus that you have to traverse. I think the most useful site map would be comprehensive and all on one page (even if the page had to be pretty long to do it) without having to click on anything...

I have mixed feelings about that. On one hand I suspect that simply sending it though feedback is a little too low and may not be elevated to the right level. But most members have no clue who to contact except the very top. You should contact your Bishop or Stake President because they are only a ...

Yes, IE7 and FireFox have this capability. Just click a link with the scroll wheel and it's off and running in a new tab. And Ctrl+Tab will switch between tabs, much like Alt+Tab does between applications (Windows only?). Because I can type so fast and am good at navigating the internet this extra ...

Have you considered using tabbed browsing or multiple browser windows to help with toggling back and forth between the Ensign and the scriptures? If that worked for you, you could save a ton of time. Hope that helps. I routinely use multiple tabs and windows when browsing the internet and it does n...

Here is an example of why I'm working on a clearly defined policy. I don't think that in the past we thought of all of the ways someone may use the data (for good or evil purposes) and so an issue like this comes up and people wonder what they can or cannot do. I'll find out but I'm about 98% posit...

The unit admins can add links to the front page - as long as they go to church sites. I've added a link to the local temple, the local Institute of Religion, Gospel Library and LDS catalog. I noticed that someone has added "Serving in the Church". I am aware that links to the official church websit...

No one has mentioned Home Teachers taking the necessary information (confirmation date etc.) to people during their monthly visits so people can log-in and register easily. I don't think it appropriate to give Home Teacher's access to confirmation dates and membership numbers. I am not sure what th...
