Looks like they are aware and know what caused it. They just posted an update on Facebook. Seems it is due to a system font having been removed by Apple in the latest update, and the missing font is causing the app to crash. They are working on a fix.

Just adding another witness. Gospel Library 3 on iOS 7.0.3 on an iPhone 5s. The app opens and displays the library content, but attempts to read any content result in an immediate crash.

I'm glad I don't have a 5s yet! (Not for lack of trying, though - they're all sold out locally!)

A workaround is to sync the entire church calendar to your Google, iCal, or Outlook calendar, and then sync that calendar to your iPhone or iPad.
