I understand that; but that does already happen when stock or other like items are donated directly to CHQ. I suppose one difference is that most people don't pay all their tithing through stock! For personal reasons, I think the ability of people to donate without the local unit knowing is needed....

I may be looking at this differently but as a bishop when I have received an EFT check mailed to my home, I have handed it back to the member and asked them to fill out the donation slip and to change the address it was mailed too, to be their home so they can continue to fill it out. I think this i...

Broken links on lds.org

I am entering this on behalf of my wife who is currently too frustrated to do it. It seems that every link for visiting teaching is either missing or broken or takes you to the previous months message. Not good at all!

Yes, and you would not even need a Receiver either. You could just use a laptop or clerk computer, and go to broadcast.lds.org and select the stream that you need. That is unless it is encrypted like a temple dedication.

My wife found this one yesterday. You cannot access the December Visiting Teaching message on the site unless you search for it in the magazine. Going into serving in the church, RS, Visiting Teaching message does not give it to you and it should.

You also don't really want to this wirelessly. Wired connections are always the better way to go!

Stephen, Let me help a little. The servers are currently set for a max to any one source stream of 250. Based on your earlier posts this would seem to be enough. For large events such as this i would recommend contacting the ICS Broadcast Event Support Team in Salt Lake City for either assistance or...

albert, One of the reasons that we developed and internal solution was control. When other services are used, many use "reflector server" technology which means that your meeting sits out there on someones server and we have no control as to how long or who has access to the meeting. There...

How are you entering the URL? hand typing it, copy/paste? Are you putting it into the browser URL window, if so what browser? Are you opening WMP and hitting Control U to enter the URL?
