At a stake conference in 2006, our visiting General Authority said that ward clerks should sit on the stand at sacrament meeting, and stake clerks at stake conference. Custom report quick search broken?

Has anybody noticed that in MLS 3.2.1, you can't type multiple characters in the quick search field in Custom Reports? It enters a backspace every time you type one character. I've seen this on 2 different computers, so far. If this can be confirmed, can a moderator add it to the Custom Reports sect...

I believe you need export permissions to do so, which is only granted to administrative users, IIRC.

I'm also a fan of DBAN...been using it for years. I used the program sent on a floppy disk by the church when making the transition from MIS/FIS to MLS, and from old hardware to new hardware. I suppose it worked just as well, but I can't see licensing a program when there's a comparable free/open-so...

It's generally a member of the Stake Presidency, but may be delegated to a High Councilor. I think I was serving on the HC when that letter came out, as I do remember seeing it. It's pretty hard to get your hands on a copy if you're not in a leadership position, though.
