Tuesday evening: My Stake President called and said he had gotten the Oct. SFS in the mail today. He said it was through the 31st of the month. I was lead to understand that there would be a break-out of each ward's YTD totals (I have them through Sep. 30) through Oct. 17th. I will not see the SFS u...

They will receive everything they have coming as soon as I am able to do so, but it is getting late in the year for a lot of their holiday planning. Most wards do not budget a specific amount of $ for Christmas here, ...

Pilotfly, I concur completely. I have amounts, both positive and negative, in the oddest places. For instance, not all my budget columns zeroed. Single adult, YM/YW activities and YW all show positive balances. Payable to local unit Girl's Camp also shows an almost $5000 dollar balance even though t...

Will the sales tax feature remain on the those individual ward/branch computers? We also disbanded a ward about 4 months ago. We split their unused budget monies among t...

specific song not to be sung in regular mtg?

10 or 12 years ago I was serving in a Bishopric when we got a letter from SLC explaining that 'The Spirit of God Like a Fire is Burning' was a very sacred song and should be reserved for Spirit-directed occasions or for temple dedications. Not to be sung as a part of a regular Sacrament meeting or n...

Stake finance clerk: audit questions

Our stake has combined 7 wards into 6. I have an audit coming Tuesday for the ward which was deleted. Who signs the audit form; the Bishop has been released. What is the best way to divide the remaining budget and other $ from the recombined ward with the resulting boundary changes? Should I figure ...
