New Question

Our Bishop said that last year for ward conference we were told to not use initials in names on sustaining list? He is not sure exactly. Our Ward Conference is this next Sunday so I need to let ward clerk know. Any help appreciated.

OK, Techgy and Alan, it's all clear as mud!! No really your comments help a lot and do answer my questions. I have been holding off on using the email broadcast feature after hearing some horror stories but it does not appear to be as bad now. When I was checking this all out I must have checked som...

Which email function are you referring to? There's the broadcast that's available in the web admin mode (which techgy has described), and then there's the "email leadership" function. The last one is not a broadcast per se, and if you click on it, you'll see who it will be sent to. Sorry I was not ...

Almost Ready

I guess it's almost time to try the broadcast email feature. Presently (as Ward Executive Secretary) I send out emails to Ward Council, PEC and other groups from a personal email account. I have been hearing the pros and cons of using the system. My one big remaining question is: how do the leadersh...

Church Magazines

The bishop is concerned he has not gotten anything about church magazines, printout names and renewal dates, etc. He wonders if we missed something.

Web Site Meeting Schedule

As I did in 2006, the last Sunday in 2007 we changed in MLS the meeting times with a date of January 1st. The change did not take place as web site still shows old meeting times. I tried again after the first of the year, putting in a January 13th effective date (one week out) did a send/receive and...

So how did it go? Anyway this is a great idea. The training at the Linger Longer event went better than I had hoped. I signed up six more members and gave out at least a dozen handouts explaining how a person could sign up themselves at home. The ward clerk was handy to get members membership numbe...
