Base64 Encoding

The V6 Command Reference includes commands for encoding and decoding Base64 streams. I'll send you a copy.

The Website obviously talks to MLS to update memberships. Why does it not also import the leadership directory? Besides being time consuming, tedious, and a make-work project, it isn't necessary. I can't speak for the Curriculum department, which owns that decision, but I believe it's a simple matter of priority. Unfortunately, the worldwide rollout is tied to the rewrite of LUWS, since we aren't doing any more development on the V6/Tcl platform on which LUWS was built and serving up the site from HQ for a worldwide Church isn't tenable anyway.

The idea of syndicating Church content has come up, but we aren't doing anything specifically related to that right now. Nevertheless, we will have the technical ability to do so in the near future. In the meantime, look for more and more RSS links on LDS.org.
