Send a message to finance support through MLS. They'll take care of it in short order. Be very specific with the date the check was written, the check number and the payee.

It can be changed, but some organization push out policies that forces this.

Windows 10 18 months out of date

I notice that our PC is still running Windows 10 1511, released November of 2015, and several critical security fixes were never pushed out. Are local units supposed to be running Windows Update ourselves to make sure the systems are up to date and secure?

Prediction: lots of STSes are going to get lots of "I forgot my password" requests every few months. Prediction: lots of wards are going to have the new passwords written down and "hidden" close by, if not actually stuck to the monitor. There is a reason why the new NIST guidelin...

When I staged our replacement windows 10 machine I set the password to be the same as the old one. After everything had settled down I then changed to a new password.

Do the old instructions on how to replace a clerk PC without needing to call SLC to reset the security token still work? Anything different with the process under Windows 10?

Knox Boxes don't use combinations - they use a key that is only provided to your local police/fire departments: when you buy one of the boxes you don't even get the key, you have to have the FD come out and make sure that it is working. The boxes are also set into the wall, as in mortared into place...
