One of our prior YW leaders sent texts to her class regularly. They were typically to everyone, such as: -HS back to school on Tu, so YW on Wed (Since our chapel is next door to the high school, we have absolutely *no* use of our own parking lot on back to school nights.) -Tu 6:30 @ Central Park wea...

First check to see that the couple wants both names on the account. There are private reasons that some may not want the data to be comingled.

A coworker recently studied the DVD industry & shared his findings with me. The DVD market has been steady in spite of the economy because people prefer seek opportunities to escape during economic downturns and today people watch movies. Manufacturing is increasingly offshore, but US DVD stampe...

I've been paying tithing electronically for a year or so now. It would be nice to be able to indicate tithing, fast offering, and local (ward or specific missionary) donations, but that is not currently possible. I would also appreciate the opportunity to tell them to stop sending me mail. Email or ...

Okay, I guess yesterday was a fluke for me. Today, the English site just said "loading", but nothing happened. That said, it occurred to me that most ASL productions do not turn off the sound. We're now able to watch it through that link. Meanwhile, my college student who is studying to be...

Just curious:
How long have you had an email address?
How long have you had a cell phone?

I've had an email address for about 15 or 16 years & a cell phone for a decade.

Woohoo! This is the *first* time that general conference has properly streamed throughout an entire session. I've used my computer to access it for about a decade now. No change in my ISP, type of connection, computer, or software since before the April 2008 session. I'm just glad that it finally wo...

Our stake budgets for YSA, "mid-singles" (abt 30-40), and "elite" singles (generally retired - deceased (almost)). The 40 somethings & 50 somethings fend for themselves & fund their own activities. We have 2 YSA wards & a hybrid family / mid-singles ward. Note that th...

My current missionary has had several email problems lately, which resulted in very short messages being received. The email also comes without wordwrap, which irritates people when I don't edit it prior to forwarding the email to others.

Good for some circumstances, but in preparing templework, the only workaround is to completely ignore the system and type in what I want to print. This defeats the purpose of preventing duplication. However, that is where I am now. My "official" response when others ask me about nFS is to ...
