Russell, I'm not the right one to pitch this idea to. I'll forward your post on to one of the meetinghouse tech leads.

Re: Strategy for playing "Come, Follow me"

Re: Strategy for playing "Come, Follow me"
I think you've pinpointed the problem: I don't think I used the right kind of DVD. The combo player is a Toshiba LCD TV/DVD Combination model no. 19LV610. On page 8 of the user manual (online here: http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/22lv610u_om_e.pdf ), it says that the DVD has to display one o...

Re: Strategy for playing "Come, Follow me"
I used a DVD-R. 120 min, 1x-16x compatible, 4.7 GB DVD. I burned 2 DVDs -- one at a regular speed (can't remember exactly what), the other at 2x.Did you try with both DVD-R and DVD+R?
Have you successfully burned DVDs that work in your meetinghouse DVD player?

Re: Strategy for playing "Come, Follow me"
Wow, you're quick. I was going to add a note to this thread as well about the upcoming broadcast. Thanks for doing that. There are a lot of broken links with the videos right now. People are aware of the issue and are working to fix them, I believe.

howellpayne, once you get access, let me know if you run into any issues in setting up Lesson Schedules. I write the help material for that application, so I'm always eager to learn ways to improve the documentation.

Re: FAQ for Supporting New Youth Curriculum Digital Media
It's great to see the proposed content that needs to be published about digital media. I'm working on a help file that will hopefully clear up a few things, such as how to put media on a smartphone or tablet, how to burn a DVD, and so forth. I'll refer to the content you wrote here to make sure all ...
