Re: Come Follow Me in Gospel Library

Catalog updates are loaded to the app when they are available but any new content that becomes available in the catalog update needs to be downloaded manually. A future version of the app will allow subscriptions so that new content is downloaded automatically but until then you need to look for new...

Re: Calendar notification from another ward/stake

The member is getting new and previously scheduled notifications so it isn't something that relates to one type of notification or another I don't believe. If there is an issue that the subscription needs to be changed when a person moves from one ward/stake to another, I would suggest that this is ...

Re: move content to ext sd card.

We have found that some manufacturers, Samsung being the most notable, have deviated from the standard convention of how they name their internal memory on their devices. The app checks with the Android OS to determine what is external memory (usually indicated by a label starting with "sdcard&...

Re: Split screen, please?

This is a common request from tablet users and the development team has a ticket for the request. Including it will completely depend on the perceived need of this enhancement vs. the need for other changes in the app. A certain amount of work in the app is determined by the work requested and coord...

Re: Highlighting Issues

Version 2.5.0.23 (version for Kindle and Nook) and 2.5.0.24 for all other Android devices no longer has an option for Alternate Highlight Mode. We were able to fix the problem that caused us to have to include that option in the 2.5 version. I would recommend that you try to remove and reinstall the...

Re: General Conference Videos / Default Quality

There is not a way to change the video quality. The links to videos are set in the content links and we are dependent on our content team to set that up for us. We have sent a request to the content team for some assistance but due to the workload they have, I don't know when or if they will get to ...

Re: Chromecast

The developers are looking at it. If they do implement it, we probably won't see it until late this year or early next because of the work already scheduled. I do agree that it would be nice for showing video content in meetinghouses without congesting the network as long as we get our TV's updated ...

Re: GL3.0 for Android?

Comparing versions isn't going to get you very far. There will be a version 3.0 for Android but it will not contain all of the same features that are in the iOS version and Android will contain some features not available in the iOS version. Because the platforms are different and they both have the...
