Interested in a tour of the church conference center technology on Friday following the LDS Technology Conferene?

I just listened to the Mormon Channel Insights Episode 8 on broadcasting and was fascinated! I’d like to see and hear more so… For those who are planning on attending the 2015 technology conference perhaps a tour could be arranged of the church’s conference center and associated technology? Since th...

High Counselor access to CDOL and Handbook I

As an STS, I have access to the Handbook of Instructions 1 and CDOL (LDS.org) but one of our High Counselors is reporting he does not have access to either. Is this correct? He said he would like to use it to keep in contact with other Stake's YM/YW Stake leaders regarding multi-stake dances. He has...

Re: Teaching technologically challenged leaders

There are many reasons people don't grasp and use new technologies including fear, intimidation, unfamiliar terms, personality or a resistance to change, lack of funds...the list goes on and on. Here are some of my observations and suggestions: Fear. For the most part, assure the individual they're ...

FOR printout too large and cropped

I've looked at printer settings (remember it...

Re: My whole calendar is blank

...had the same issue on two PC's (Google Chrome).

I cleared history and then the events showed. Then went to create an event but the Create Events page wouldn't fill in on either calendar (showed boxes only).

Tried it again this morning and it works now.

Re: Unable to wipe drive

Thank you for your suggestions.

The instructions found on the Parted Magic site offered no solutions.

From the DBAN .iso, I created a USB only to find the PC's were too old to boot from a USB so I then burned a CD from .iso, which is working.

Thanks again.

Unable to wipe drive

I'm a STS and I'm trying to wipe several old clerk XP machines using the recommended church instructions, but after clicking the final procsess to start, I get the message This routine can only run for disks supporting the security mode feature set. The instructions for Parted Magic I followed are h...

Re: Ethernet to hdmi video converter

Since the EVI-D70 does not have an Ethernet jack, how are you able to connect the CAT5/6 cable to the camera? Perhaps there is some kind of adapter connected from the CAT5 wire to the camera's video jack? If BALUNS are not being used on each end of your CAT5/6 wire, serious degradation of the video ...
