Re: Windows 10 Upgrade

I know there will be some haters out there, but I have been a Windows Insider and have had it for some time. It is a very stable OS. Why wouldn't we want to upgrade to Windows 10 since it is free? I don't have an issue with any of the church sites yet on the Edge browser, but another browser could e...

Re: Windows Gospel Library Help and Suggestions

One of the best features from the first Windows Phone version is to jump directly to a verse in a chapter. I have not seen that option on the new version for Windows, or on Android or IOS. It is really annoying when you open up Jacob 5 and you want to read version 72 you have to scroll for an eterni...

Re: Cortana not working on Meetinghouse Internet

I am having the same issue with 5 of our family's Windows Phones. I have been to the chapel when there are no others present and still have the issue, so it is not a bandwidth type issue. I suspect jasonminer is on to something with the cert issue.

Re: LDS Tools not accepting my user name & password

You can try the calendar trick if your read in entries. Basically login to lds.org on a computer and adjust the calendars subscribed to then try again. Sometimes certain characters in passwords don't work. Either way, I have the beta of the new version of LDS Tools on my phone now. It will be releas...

Re: Browser support in LCR site (Leader and Clerk Resources)

@mrrad I understand that the website didn't work with IE8 on XP that is why we use Firefox. In the letter they just sent out, it indicates new changes to LCR through 2015. A lot of clerk machines have Firefox on them if they are XP. Further, leaders will likely do a lot of work from home. They maybe...

Browser support in LCR site (Leader and Clerk Resources)

A Meetinghouse Technology newsletter dated 9/3/14 stated this: "Be aware that computers using the Windows XP operating system will not be able to upgrade to the most recent version of IE and will need to use Google Chrome to access LCR." My question is, does that mean that LCR will not wor...

Re: Support for Windows XP being discontinued

The clerk userid also has Admin rights, so just because they use a browser other than IE8 doesn't mean they are necessarily any less susceptible.

Re: Windows Phone Content Updates?

Hopefully until the new version comes out there will be an update to add April 2014 Conference to the app as a stop gap?
