The calendar actually has not been tested on Android (only on iOS) but in this case it does appear to be device-specific since other Android users are having success using it. The reason this happened is because for the 2.0 release, all locations need to have a time zone specified for each. They were all disabled until stake admins could enter the time zone and re-enable them.
