If it shows members that had asked to be removed from the website, then I'd consider it a bug. I know of a couple. I'll have to check.

A related problem is once a person has the cards printed, it locks up the name.(New or old system). The name can not be resubmitted as long as a printed card exists or duplication can occur. Under the old system, wasn't there ways to go ahead and process it if the member hadn't done anything for ov...

Currently nFS is only open to members. The member's login it tied to their membership record. In theory, the member's unit would notify the church when that member dies. Personally, I'd think about making things expire if the user hasn't logged in for a long time. As long as their account is in use,...

(2) SLC Allocation to wards and stake Should read: (2) SLC Allocation to stake My understanding is that SLC gives to the stake. It's up to the SP on what gets allocated to whom. The usual method is the stake takes what it needs and then divides the balance between the wards/branches. As a starting ...

A few of us have reported loosing admin rights out of the blue. So far, no one has pinned it down. I had a theory that it was an attempt to log in while the site was down. Your experience sounds like if it's coming though a different ISP or something.

As for uniquely identifying 3 copies of the same picture, I don't think that matters. They all have the same barcode and you have some quantity of that item. Just as long as you are able to put a member's name with the checked out item, you can then see that one of the items haven't been returned a...

Each issue of each of the Church Magazines has its own unique UPC code for each month. I don't have a Ensign handy, but looking around, it appears that the month in encoded in a add-on code. That's fine for retail, but it's going to create issues for libraries. I think barcodes is a great idea, but...

enriquer wrote:Neat idea. Wouldn't work in our Stake as we typically have seniors who are lets say.....not so tech savvy staffing the materials center.

Which is why it needs to be made simple and largely de-bugged before deployment.
