It took a few hours between the 1st and 2nd "Send/Receive", but it fixed the issue, and the names were back on the New Member Report. Essentially, the 1st Send/Receive sends the "upgraded" data to SLC, and then the 2nd Send/Receive will download the revised data from SLC for the ...

I saw the same bug the other day on the Stake computer. Once I gave myself View and Edit rights to the recommends, then I was able to see it on the screen.

I think that it is a bug not having rights but still being able to print...

I tried 2 send/receives on the Stake data, but they did not come up.

I will try it on the ward data tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm wondering if it it "wiped" the old move-ins but will track move-ins from here on or what. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

I did not check the move-ins list--I think that was ok. It is the newly baptized converts that are not showing up on the New Member Report.

MLS 2.6 and New Member Report

I recently installed the 2.6 version of MLS for the Stake and one unit. I noticed on both that when you run the New Member Report, there is no data at all. I think that this is a bug in MLS, but wanted to know if other units/stakes were having the same problem. I searched different months and years ...

WardTools

I have used WardTools on a Palm and PPC. There are more features (beaming reports, icons, GUI) in the Palm than in the PPC version. The reports it offers are handy and helpful, especially when sitting in meetings. It is nice that you can edit the existing reports (found a few mistakes in a few of th...

other uses for WardMap.vbs?

The ward maps functionality would also be nice on the Meetinghouse Locator function--to be able to see where the nearest ward is to a location you are at. I was playing around and tried to enter in the chapels around the Dallas area and put them in the "membership.csv" file, and then uploa...

I've continued to receive a LOT of feedback from folks wanting access to the WardMap I had hosted. I've explained to them I can't, due to the reasons posted earlier in this thread. As such, I created a VBS file that anyone can run on their Windows machine and consume their Ward Member CSV file from...

Logging activity in MLS

Is there a way to log activity in MLS so that you can see:

(1) Who has logged into MLS
(2) What changes they made when they were in the system?

I have clerks/bishopric members that make incorrect edits/changes, but I cannot always tell who did it so that I can talk to them about it.
