Transferring funds between ward missionary accounts

I am a stake clerk. We have a couple missionaries in the MTC whose initial payments were taken from the YSA ward, rather than their home ward. I have already called the Missionary Department to change the ward that is to make future payments. I know I can ask the "home ward" bishop to writ...

Re: Disposing of Typewriters

If I may tack onto an old thread, many clerks in my stake are wondering what to do with their typewriters. Are there any standard church forms that require the use of a typewriter?

I am thinking of the multi-part form we use for the stake conference report. Do we need a typewriter for that form?

Travel/Phone Reimbursement form

Is the Travel/Phone Reimbursement form only available as a paper form?
From the thumbnail image at store.lds.org, it looks like a fillable PDF, but there is no way to download it.

Re: Where is Ward Conference Report stored?

This is interesting. I had assumed that wards and branches would have to complete a form similar to the stake conference report. But I guess there is no such thing as a unit conference report.

Re: New MLS Backup/Restore behavior

I believe the work-around you are looking for is to delete your unit directory before you start MLS and do the restore. If MLS starts up and doesn't find any unit data, it gives you the initial screen that asks for your unit number and name, and your administrator password. Then you can just restore...

Setting up PPI folders for stake president

As I understand it, each month the stake clerk should print certain reports and put them into file folders so the stake president can refer to those reports during his monthly PPIs with bishops, branch presidents, and the Relief Society president. Is there any guidance as to which reports or other p...

Re: YW Class Presidencies not shown on Officers Sustained pa

I was looking at that last night, and wondered why all the YW presidency positions showed "Vacant". Our stake YW president has been asking me for a list of all unit YW presidencies, and creating a custom report for it in MLS looked too complicated to me.

Re: Several issues with MLS and Finance

Any other thoughts on the crashing side? That one is a bigger issue in my mind. I worry that I will write a bunch of check and then end up without having them properly sent to SLC to be authorized. I had MLS crash (disappear from the screen) a few times the other day. I had been printing several fi...

Re: WiFi down again

In that building we have over 200 available dynamic IP addresses. I have no way of knowing if that pool of addresses was used up (we STS's would dearly love to have a way to find that information at any point), I would think that running out of IP addresses was unlikely to be the problem given the ...

The 1401 WAPs get their power from the 881W through PoE. I wonder if the 1200 WAPs can also get PoE if they are directly connected to the 881W, rather than through a switch or hub.
