Retention of Disciplinary Council records

All paper and electronic records of disciplinary actions, including applications to the First Presidency, should be destroyed as soon as the presiding officer receives notification that these actions have been processed at Church headquarters. Destroy all other records that are no longer needed in ...

Re: Strategy for playing "Come, Follow me"

I would love to know if there is a way to play mp4 files from a USB flash drive on the new 32-inch LG TVs that the FM recently bought for us. I tried it once, but the mp4 file type was not supported by the TV.

Re: Calling not listed when trying to add viewers/editors "B

This morning, I created a stake "Scouting" calendar, and tried to make the building scheduler for the stake center an editor of that calendar. However, I could not find any building scheduler calling in the list. I could only find a building specialist.

Re: Paperless Stake Calendar/Directory

When I became the stake executive secretary in April 2005, I dropped the calendar from the next annual stake directory because stake leaders never got all future events in before the deadline for the printed directory. My motto has always been, "The moment something is printed it is obsolete.&q...

MLS financial cleanup prior to year closeout

I was working in the stake clerk's office (my office) today. I did a send/receive on the Stake MLS, and saw two messages. One was about duplicate custom callings, and the other one told me I had received a financial statement. When I looked for financial statements, I got the message that I had to c...

Re: How do I change the date after I edit an article?

Do you think the term "Newsletter" is confusing to members? I can understand their confusion if they think of the Newsletter as a document (one for each month) with several articles. I think the old term "News and Information" might be less confusing, but we live with the hand we...

Who calls website administrators?

I could not find the answer in the chart of callings or in the wiki.

Do ward leaders or stake leaders extend the call to the ward website administrator?
It is a standard ward calling in MLS, but I can't figure out if the calling must be approved by stake leaders or not.

Thank you,

Re: LDSTech Broadcast

Just a reminder: There's an LDSTech Broadcast today at 12pm MDT on the Gospel Topics Explorer. You can read more details here: http://bit.ly/WftNFV . I have tried to view that broadcast several times, but every time I try to view the 02 Nov 2012 broadcast, I always get the 07 Dec 2012 broadcast. Do...

RKATS page has been changed

Maybe this is just my imagination, but I think the link to the RKATS page has just been changed to point to the new page. The old RKATS web page still exists: http://www.lds.org/pa/display/0,17884,6074-1,00.html However, if you go up to the Melchizedek Priesthood training, the link to Record-Keeping...

Re: Reservation Issue - Rooms in use are able to be double b

In fact, it's probably a good idea to give them some editor rights so they can create events for private functions. If a Building Scheduler creates events for private functions, they should only appear on a private calendar, right? Otherwise, it wouldn't be a very private event. I guess I never tho...
