Re: Update Budget allocation

Yes, you can easily transfer funds from one budget category to another budget category without changing the budget allocations you set for each category. As for "rollover expenses" I had that issue a couple years ago. The YW president had been saving receipts for several months. About Dece...

Re: Update Budget allocation

No way to do that yet in LCR. Budget categories can go negative as long as the ward budget has an overall positive balance. Your budget categories are for local management only. The stake and the church only care if your ward budget goes negative. On the other hand, none of your Other:AMFA subcatego...

Re: Database error when entering an expense

You certainly can't use MLS for financial work until the GSC sends you a special file. But you can use LCR Finance for expenses. You just can't do a deposit this Sunday.

Re: Ward Clerk wants to move my records

I think the three-month rule is a good standard to follow. Then again, since records can be "moved" in less than one minute, the clerks can just play ping pong with your record each time you jump over the big pond.

Re: Baptism / confirmation consent form?

The same thing happened to me just now when I created a membership record for a newborn baby.

The member or legal guardian must first sign the Child Record Form and upload it to create their record.

Re: Electronic Reimbursement - Approval Process

Our auditor also asked for paperwork, but he was happy to look at the scanned images if we did not have the hardcopy. We did receive several receipts via email, and although I asked the members to bring the hardcopy to church, they never did. So the auditor just brought up the receipt images on his ...
