Re: California Government Certification Processing Time
Where are you looking? There is a new tab added to the membership record in LCR, called "Certifications". As I understand, it's currently only available to leaders and clerks in California, since a new background check law took effect this year, There is also a new report, called, "G...

California Government Certification Processing Time
We began the California background check process for our youth leaders a few weeks ago, but are not seeing it recorded in the membership information. I'm guessing there is a significant backlog at Church HQ. Any reports of how long it's taking to update the membership records?

Re: Missionary "Home Unit"
From the MORS site: "The 'Home' unit is the ward or branch where the missionary's membership records will likely reside while the missionary is serving." "The 'Membership' unit is the ward or branch in which the missionary's membership record currently resides." Interesting. So ...

Re: Church Network Manager
That fix is now in place. I'm seeing the shared building. It shows up as a "Non Agent Property", but I have visibility to everything and can manage the Liahona and Lehi networks in that facility.russellhltn wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2022 1:37 pm My sources tell me a fix will be coming within a week. So, for now, I'd wait a week.

Re: Church Network Manager
With the new Church Network Manager, you have to click on each individual facility and then look for the little green check mark on each one of them. Yeah, it seems more like a top-level menu than a "dashboard". One of our buildings is now missing from the CNM. We share a building with an...

Re: More Permanent Setup for Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts
Do you have the STL or vector file of that clamp? Unfortunately, I don't. It was done by hand. We just took measurements of the mic boom and built from there. Replicated for our 3 buildings and did 4 more for a neighboring stake. Here are the parts we used: 1/2" x 2" aluminum 6061 flat ba...

Re: Moderating political posts in ward-oriented social media groups
We have some members who post highly partisan political comments in the ward FB group. Often members more than infer that the Church tacitly endorses their preferred political group. : Does anyone know of something that would help us? Here are the rules we use for our ward FB groups. They are poste...

Re: Can I kick connected devices off of the Liahona Network?
If you turn off Liahona, devices with a physical ethernet connection (clerk computer, printer, etc.) are still on the network and will show up on the connected list. Also, Wi-Fi-connected connected devices seem to remain on the list for a while after they are disconnected. Not sure about the lease e...

Re: Key Indicators & Family History Report - 1st 4 generations
Team, I understand that the percentage in the report is based on how many of the 15 Names across the whole ward are in one’s tree. With that in mind, in our January report, we show 47.2% in this area. In December 2020, we had 70.8%. How did we lose 23.6%?p in a month? Something has certainly change...
